I Saw A Gif Set of Christopher Eccleston As The Ninth Doctor

The tag said ‘most underrated doctor ever’…

Maybe. But only if you are looking at the new series (Doctors 9-11) in which case he is only up against 2 others.

When you look at the entire oeuvre of Doctor Who you realize that Eccs is NOWHERE NEAR THE MOST UNDERRATED DOCTOR EVER!

I mean, I would estimate that 95% of the tumblrs who post gifs of Eccs, Tennant, and/or Smith haven’t even SEEN much of Doctors 1-8. I would also bet that most of the ones who would respond saying ‘oh yes I have!’ really haven’t…

…because, if they had, they would realize that there are (by my estimation) 5 Doctors who are infinitely more underrated than Christopher Eccleston.

Seriously, somebody argue for me that Christopher Eccleston is more underrated than Patrick Troughton.

Or Paul McGann.

Or Sylvester McCoy.

Or Colin Baker.

Or William Hartnell.

Yeah… I thought so…
