Because I Received ANOTHER One….
If y’all are recent followers you might wanna pay attention!
So… you wanna know how to get around the daily upload limit, eh? I hate to break it to you but you can’t.
You can, however, link to as many externally hosted mp3s as your little heart desires!
Here’s how:
- Click on the audio post button
- Click on the link under the browse box that says “Use an externally hosted audio file”
- Input the url of the mp3 you want to post in this new box
- Type in some words in the description box. This is important. If you decide to leave it blank than I will not listen to your song. Simple as that.
- Repeat process AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE!!!

“So Peter,” I hear you thinking, “Where do I find externally hosted mp3s of the songs I want to post?”
Well, you could either upload your own mp3s to a site and link from there OR you could use a search engine type thingie.
Personally I use aggregators such as Beemp3 or ABMp3. Both seem to have a pretty decent chance of finding something that you want to post. Be forewarned! The link that you are going to use to post songs is labeled on both of these sites as MP3 URL. The link is located ABOVE the in site player. DO NOT USE THE LINK THAT SAYS “YOU CAN SHARE THIS MP3”!!! IT WILL NOT WORK WITH TUMBLR!
Also make sure to listen to the file before posting it. A lot of the songs are broken and/or horrible sound quality.
I think that that about sums it up… Any other questions feel free to drop me a line…
